The foundation is founded by David Olaniyi Oyedepo who is a Nigerian preacher, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, and presiding Bishop of the Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. The church is also known as Winners’ Chapel International.

The David Oyedepo Foundation scholarship program provides full scholarships to deserving citizens and residents of African nations. The program aims to create young leaders who are prepared to use their newly acquired abilities to guide organizations, communities, and their own nations. Students are given the chance to attend Covenant and Landmark Universities in Nigeria as part of the scholarship.
Qualification for the 2023 David Oyedepo Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship:
For you to be selected for the program, you must meet up with the following criteria:
- At the time of application submission, applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25
- Applicants must be citizens or legal residents of one of the African nations.
- Be qualified for a Nigerian student visa.
- Have a track record of outstanding achievement at the secondary school level, as measured by:
- A minimum of 20 points over the JAMB cutoff score (for Nigerians only)
- Secondary or high school transcripts with an average of 80% or a GPA of 4.0 or 5.0.
- Have already started the admissions process for Covenant or Landmark University
BENEFITS OF THE 2023 DAVID OYEDEPO FOUNDATION UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP:
- Full Academic fees for a maximum of 5 years. (In accordance with the University stipulated time for the duration of the chosen course).
Do note that the scholarship does not cover;
